Meet Robert Wickes

Robert Wickes BSc (Hons) MRICS is a Chartered Surveyor with over 15 years worth of architectural and surveying experience, focusing on delivering high standards and consistent client centred results.

Robert entered the building sector in 2008 after obtaining his degree in Building Surveying & the Environment at the University of Plymouth. Through hard work, commitment, and continued professional development, Robert became a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 2010 and has since worked on various diverse and challenging projects, ranging from domestic house refurbishments to new build housing design, to extensions and alterations of schools. Owing to his extensive experience and his pragmatic attitude, Robert has become a highly respected and trusted member of the South West construction sector.

Robert has held a number of senior positions within Cornish surveying practices, working with an array of professional consultants and project stakeholders. It was the culmination of this experience and a realisation that many of these practices didn’t truly centre their efforts on their clients’ needs that led to the creation of Roark Design & Surveying.

Robert established Roark Design & Surveying to put his client’s interests at the centre of the business’ operations. This allows him to provide a range of applicable and cost effective services whilst personally ensuring that each of his projects benefit from his expert professional experience and vast technical ability.
